Supporting Women on the Climb
WHEN WOMEN LEAD, EVERYTHING GOES UP
Glass Ladder exists for women who are ready for what's next – not just the next job title, but the next level of impact, influence and seniority in how they lead.
WHAT WE DO
Glass Ladder exists for women ready for what's next - not just the next title, but the next level of impact, influence and leadership.
We work with ambitious middle managers and senior leaders who know it's time to lead differently. More clarity, less box-ticking. More of what's already strong, less fixing what isn't. More together, less alone.
Leadership is how you show up, how you decide, how you bring people with you - and the legacy you leave.
We give you the space, structure and straight talk to lead with confidence, presence and purpose.

WHO WE ARE
We exist for women who are ready to climb - and want to go further, faster.
Glass Ladder is a women's leadership development company. We work with ambitious women navigating their way to senior leadership - and with the organisations smart enough to invest in them.
We're practitioners, not theorists. Our programs are built on what actually works: the strategies, language, and frameworks that get women into the rooms they deserve to be in - and make them impossible to ignore once they're there.
The Impact
The climb is real. So are the results.
Women who come through Glass Ladder don't just feel more confident - they get promoted, step into board roles, win the pitches, and get seen the way they've always deserved.
They leave with clarity on their value, confidence in the conversations that matter, higher-performing teams, and a community that has their back - long after the program ends.
Our Mission
To change the pipeline of women ready to lead - and equip them to get there on their terms.
Too many capable women are waiting to be noticed. Downplaying their edge. Networking by accident. Walking into senior rooms and not yet speaking the language of the leaders already in them.
We fix that. Because when more women lead, more communities win.
MEET OUR TEAM
The people behind Glass Ladder - passionate about advancing women in leadership.

Megan Corfield
Founder & CEO
″My catalyst has been the innate knowing that when women lead, everyone and everything goes up in the world.”
After 25 years in executive roles and 17 years on boards, Megan realised she’d spent most of her career helping other people and organisations grow – but not nearly enough time growing what she cared about most: the next generation of female leaders.
Her career has spanned utilities, infrastructure, energy and government – sectors that don’t naturally make life easy for women. She’s been the only woman in the room more times than she can count, and learned early that if she wanted things to change, she had to stop climbing someone else’s ladder and start building her own.
Known for taking on the uncharted and the challenging – the projects no one else wants, the teams that need rebuilding, the businesses that need turning around – Megan built Glass Ladder to give the next generation of female leaders something she never had - the straight talking advice, the positive psychology to amplify strengths, access to corporate insight with no spin and a network of women that truly back each other.
Recognised as a Queensland Telstra Business Woman of the Year and one of AFR’s 100 Women of Influence, Megan’s leadership philosophy is simple: one purpose, one team, and fun is non-negotiable.

Edwina Swinton
Leadership Development Director
With a career spanning government and not-for-proit, Edwina is a specialist in people startegy, leadership development and learning design. She has a raer ability to take complex ideas and translate them into practical, grounded action - the kind leaders can apply immediately, not just admire on the day.
Edwina is deeply committed to advancing equality for women in the workplace. Her work is shaped knowing talent, ambition, and leadership capability should never be limited by gender - and that organisations perform better when women are supported to lead with confidence, visibility and voice.
Gallup certified, Edwina applied a strengths-base lens to how leaders learn, reflect and grow. She designs experiences that are thoughtful, rigorous and deeply human to help participants connect insight to behaviour, and behaviour to real world impact.
Together, Megan and Edwina bring complementary strengths - executive leadership and lived experience, paired with learning architecture and practical application. It's a balance that makes Glass Ladder programs both powerful and unique.
REAL STORIES, REAL IMPACT
Leadership feels different when it's grounded in real experience. Here's how our community describes their growth.
I have had the pleasure of being a ‘coachee’ of Megan’s for over 2 years and her wholistic advice, delivered fearlessly and frankly has made the world of difference to how I have approached my career and my current role over that time.
Whether it be a situation with a team member, preparation for a difficult conversation, honing my presentation and speaking skills, or expanding my network, there is not really an issue that Megan hasn’t been able to assist me with.
Megan’s approach is to jointly problem solve and provide tips and trips from her huge career spanning many different roles. I am much better placed to navigate the extremely complex world of executive leadership having had Megan to guide and assist me.

Incredible program, definitely the most rewarding I’ve done in my career to date. It allowed me time to really reflect on my career journey so far and what’s important to me…so I ensure this aligns with whatever I choose to do next, and the connections I have made are invaluable.
Lauren Graham
Head of Commercial Marketing, Brisbane Airport Corporation
Working with the Glass Ladder program was a truly transformative experience. The Dream Team of wisdom and real talk.
Their guidance, encouragement, and coaching and occasional mic-drop moments of truth, created a supportive and empowering environment, and somehow managed to make me feel both seen and refreshingly real. I walked away with new insights, new tools, new confidence, a broader network of likeminded people, and definitely a few quotes I’ll be repeating for years.
Thank you for coaching us with heart, humour, and a whole lot of insight.
Inga Roberts

Megan's insights and support were invaluable, providing me with the confidence to take deliberate steps towards my career aspirations. Her approach is not only professional but also deeply empathetic, maintaining a balance between achievement of goals and fun - making the coaching experience both impactful and enjoyable.
Natalie Belcher
Director Portfolio, Performance and Practice, Griffith University
Megan has profoundly influenced how I approach leadership and career opportunities. I hadn’t realised how much untrue ‘feedback’ I had been carrying for years—until I learned to let it go. That shift changed everything, including how I see the value I bring.
Her extensive experience as an Executive and Board Member taught me how to cut through the noise and persevere.
I never would have had the confidence to ask for more in a role or truly believe I was ready.
Worldly, sharp, quick-witted, and an absolute hoot to learn from—I can’t believe how much fun we had along the way!
Australian Women Leaders are lucky to have you!
